Merlion- Iconic Symbol of Singapore

If you come to Singapore, how can you miss out the iconic symbol of Singapore? Look at the picture above, sound pretty cool huh? This is Merlion Singapore.

' The Merlion was first designed as an emblem for the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) in 1964 – the lion head with a fish body resting on a crest of waves quickly became Singapore’s icon to the rest of the world.' (Quoted from: www.visitsingapore.com).

Merlion Singapore is not very far away from Esplanade Singapore, and this is a place you must visit if you come to Singapore. Given the fact that it is an icon of Singapore, why not visit the place when you are around in the city. I am sure the photo you take will be fabulous.
